    The CARIFTA Ball is being held in honour of the Late Dr. Bernard Nottage, former track and field trailblazer and government cabinet minister.

    The CARIFTA Ball was first organized and held in 1977 when Dr. Nottage was the president of the Bahamas Association of Athletics Associations.

    The event is a black tie ball gown affair scheduled for March 29, 2018 at the Melia Nassau Beach. We cordially invite our CARIFTA family, track and field fans and corporate citizens to join us as we celebrate the life and legacy of the late Dr. BJ Nottage.

    The Opening Ceremony is will be one of the highlight events of the Flow CARIFTA Games Bahamas 2018. Come see a cultural explosion of dance and creative expression. We will welcome team Bahamas, our neighboring athletes, officials and coaches in the parade of countries. We also invite you to come say hi to Iggy our friendly Iguana. It is guaranteed to be a night you should not miss.
